I'm Morgan G., the breeder behind MG Corgis located in Edna, TX. MG corgis has genetically tested AKC registered Pembroke welsh corgis, we are a smaller breeder with all dogs raised in home. I take pride in making sure my dogs have a great temperament, conformation and genetic testing. We pair each dog after careful consideration and working closely with our vet.

Why did you start breeding?
When I graduated high school I told my family and friends for my graduation gift that I wanted money to buy my first dog. I saved up enough to purchase my first AKC registered corgi Kai she’s 8 this year. After that I was hooked and have bought more over the years so crazy to think how my life has changed and how far I’ve come but they’ve always been there with me!What makes your program special?
I have taken big steps to learn more about the breed and genetic testing, I learn more as I go and try to bring that into my program. I am taking precautions to breed as close as I can to genetically clear puppies to better the breed. I am always open to learning new things, and growing each day. Our puppies include red, sable, white and red, and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Pet homes are 2500$, breeding homes will be considered on a case to case basis. Every puppy comes with proper worming, 5- & 8-week-old immunizations, AKC paperwork, microchip, and goodies! Deposit is made to guarantee your puppy and is taken off final amount owed at time of pickup.”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Morgan was a great breeder to go through to pick out my second corgi puppy! I was looking for a breeder that did complete genetic testing and knew the temperaments of the parents. All aspects of the process was easy; communication, selection, updates, inquiries, payment, and pick up! Our puppy even had kennel training before coming home and that helped tremendously with ongoing training. I enjoy having Morgan part of my puppy’s life continuously through social media - it makes my heart happy knowing that she cares so much about these dogs who have become family members. Morgan was terrific to deal with - and after 1 1 /2 years still is. She had all the information we needed written and placed in a folder for us when we picked up our puppy. Any additional questions we had were answered promptly and thoroughly. Our puppy is healthy and well adjusted - Morgan does everything a breeder should do to insure this. She still reaches out to me even now to check how things are going. I still feel very comfortable asking her questions and believe I will be able to do this throughout the life of my precious dog.
