I'm Alexis M., the breeder behind MiAmor Shetland Sheepdogs located in Avoca, MI. At MiAmor Shetland Sheepdogs we believe in have amazing dogs in the ring and great companions at home. We are breeding quality bloodlines and top-notch healthy pups and do everything in our capabilities to achieve that. We love our dogs and know you will love them too.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I began breeding thanks to my grandma. She ignited my love of Shelties and passion to preserve this stunning breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is different from most because it’s a family operation. My daughter is involved in every aspect of my program. From helping and whelping to showing our pups and winning best in show.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alexis

Alexis has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The deposit holds your puppy until the day of pickup. The deposit is non-refundable but assures your puppy comes home with you.”

Alexis may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
