Q. & A. with Phyllis
Why did you start breeding?
Mianda Pugs has been showing and breeding for over 30 years. We started with two champion bitches of Paragon and Wejwood bloodlines. We have bred in a great deal of Bonjor through the famous Ch. Bonjor Hominy Grits ROM**. Now there's a little "Grits" in most of our dogs. We also had input from the famous Kesander line of Jean and Bob Anderson through Ch. Kesander’s Moondancer.
What makes your program special?
Here at Mianda Pugs we breed with the aim of first producing to the standard show dogs. We want large boned, compact dogs with lovely, large heads, light colored coats, and the sweet Pug disposition.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
