I'm Sarah P., the breeder behind Middle Fork Australian Shepherds located in Oakridge, OR. My goal when crossing any two Australian Shepherds is to produce quality puppies that will be ideal additions to any family. Health is foremost, then I focus on temperament and energy levels. I do this by avoiding the stronger working lines. But at the end of the day this is still a working breed and that is why they are so smart, quick learners. I strive to find the balance between show and working dogs. A lot of thought goes into who we cross to produce a litter.

Five stars for Sarah. She was able to answer all my questions about our puppy prior to pulling the trigger. She was flexible and helpful during the pickup stage. My older dog didn’t accept our puppy right away, Sarah was able to offer suggestion and tips to help with the introduction. Overall, wonderful experience. Our Aussie, Maple Meatball, is so wonderful. Amazing temperament, so sweet with my two young children and SO intelligent. If we’re ever in the market again for an Aussie pup (which is probable) I’m calling Middle Fork Australian Shepherds. Thank you for the best addition to our family.

Met up with Sarah mid morning to pick up our new puppy. Sarah had everything ready to go, the paperwork was all in order and our new friend already to go. It was my first time working with good Dog, that also went very smooth.
