I'm Cynthia R., the breeder behind Midnight Sun Aussies located in Wasilla, AK. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to have the opportunity to create companionship and love and to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family. I breed with a focus on temperament and health, and my goal is to produce playful, loving, and loyal dogs. My puppies make wonderful companions!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for Aussies inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. My dogs have brought so much happiness to me. I want to do my part to give my puppies a good life as well as spread the joy they provide with others.
  • What makes your program special?

    I genuinely cherish each of my puppies and am committed to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and beauty of my quality puppies.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cynthia

Cynthia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies go home with a health guarantee, AKC or ASDR registration, first puppy vaccination, deworming, tail docking, dewclaw removal, and puppy socialization. The deposit to hold a place in picking order is $200. Once a puppy is chosen, the deposit to reserve the puppy is an additional $300.”

Contract & health guarantee

Cynthia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), OFA/CHIC DNA Repository, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
