Meet the breeder

I'm Ken B., the breeder behind Midwest Timberland Pups located in Sauk Village, IL. We are a family-based breeding program dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. Our dogs are raised with love, early training, and hands-on care. We focus on quality, temperament, and lifelong support, ensuring each puppy transitions smoothly into a happy, loving home.

Q. & A. with Ken

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding through my lifelong passion for animals and growing up around dogs and farm animals. I’ve always loved caring for and learning about different breeds. Over time, that passion turned into responsibly breeding well-socialized, healthy puppies. My goal is to raise puppies with great temperaments and connect them with families where they’ll be loved for life.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special because I focus on health, temperament, and early socialization. Each puppy is raised in a hands-on environment with daily care, interaction, and attention. Parents are carefully selected, and puppies receive proper vet care and enrichment to help them grow into confident, loving companions ready for their forever homes.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Poodle puppies include apricot, black, red, and phantom. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
