I'm Kamiekca P., the breeder behind Miekca’s Dachshunds located in Orem, UT. We are a small in-home breeder. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family and spoiled rotten until they’re ready to join yours. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated towards achieving healthy family pets with excellent temperaments. We are always working to further our education so that we can continue to improve our breeding program.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Dogs are my life! I was born an animal lover. My parents got me my first dachshund at 4 years old. Ever since i’ve been in love with the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    All my breeding dachshunds are fully DNA, genetic, and health tested so I can produce the highest quality dachshund puppies. Your puppy will come to you well socialized by children, as well with our other in-home family dachshunds, and our big breed German Shepherd. They will be exposed to puppy enrichment/desensitizing activities to create the best well rounded puppies possible.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    We saw our dog Hashi (Custard) on Miekcas dachshunds on good dog and fell in love but we were worried how our daughter would do with a smaller dog. We voiced our concerns with Kamiekca and we were able to meet the dog before everything was finalized. Our daughter was instantly in love and we got to take Hashi home with us. He is such a great dog, especially with kids and I think it all has to do with all the work that Kamiekca did with him before he came home. He has brought so much happiness into our home.
