I'm Myrna S., the breeder behind Mika’s Aussies located in Oklahoma City, OK. We offer top quality puppies in health and temperament. Our breeding dogs are high-quality AKC/ASCA registered standard Australian shepherds that make both excellent companions and working dogs. Both Mika (dam) and Ryker (sire) have a clear DNA panel. We're passionate about our work and look forward to connecting with you!

Why did you start breeding?
After much research, we decided on the Australian Shepherd breed as the right fit for our family. The Australian Shepherd is an extremely intelligent, loyal, protective, energetic, medium-sized breed that loves to go wherever you go. Our dam, Mika, is such an excellent companion dog, and we felt like we needed to continue her bloodline. This is what led us to start a breeding program with a focus on health and temperament. We researched sires based on complementary health and temperament and found the perfect match in Ryker, an AKC and ASCA registered standard black tri-color male (herding dog) from Lazy K & Australian Ranch to breed with Mika to begin our program.What makes your program special?
Our puppies have the most special personality and temperaments because of their parents and because of the way we raise them. Our puppies are well-rounded and prepared for almost any environment and circumstance. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the Australian Shepherd line.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Myrna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Myrna partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
“The price includes a veterinary bill of health, AKC/ASCA registration, ASDR registration (if requested), and full registration. A deposit is required to reserve a puppy AFTER we have a video call together to “meet” us and the puppies. Deposit is refundable if we cannot fill your request in the time frame you have requested.”

Litter update on 31 July •…We have “Phoenix” Blue eyed red Tri female, and BET red tri male with blue/brown marbled eye. Both puppies do really well with kids. Are very sweet affectionate “Rooster” is the calmest puppy we’ve ever had. And Phoenix can also be very calm, but she is more playful and more drawn to people. She loves to be in your lap and giving you kisses. they are both completely crate, trained. Only getting up once at night to go potty. They have a strong foundation in potty training. They have been exposed to a wide variety of sounds, scents, surfaces, people, field trips, and situations that set them up to handle real life — so you’re not starting from scratch on day one, a lot of the leg work has already been done, the perfect foundation for success and an epic dog. We have added a discount for this week. Pm to set up a video call to meet them.

Litter update on 23 July •…“Phoenix” blue eyed girl is sweet as they come, playful, loves the chase, very biddable. “Rooster” Red Tri male (BET) marbled blue/brown left eye, is the runt of the litter, super chill, easy going, does really well with all dogs and cats. Both puppies are fully crate trained. Mostly potty trained. Sleep 8hrs at night. Program update on 16 July •…Puppies are 8 weeks old and ready to go home. They have gone through a strict training schedule and doing really well with crate training and potty training. We’ve been working a lot on manners around people especially children. They doing really well with bigger dogs, cats and even chickens. Bendi is a natural mother even though she will be a first time mom this winter. She has loved on her sister’s puppies and is very sweet natured. She has the most beautiful coloring and sky blue eyes. She is 45 pounds. She has a good “off-switch”.

Lily is gentle natured and a motherly soul. She loves kids and is friendly to everyone. She love to catch the Frisbee, and is very fast. She has a very unique split face and is a minimal white dark blue Merle. She was whelped and raised in our home and now has her own puppies in our home.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
