I'm Michael P., the breeder behind Mike & Josh Mini & Toy Aussies located in Greensboro, NC. We fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence and personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that we do!

Why did you start breeding?
First got into breeding LARGE mini Aussies with my Mom about 30 years ago.What makes your program special?
Miniatures range in weight between 20-40 pounds and 14-18 inches. Toys are typically 20 pounds or less and 14" or less. We focus on breeding SMALL miniatures 20-25 pounds, 14-16 inches and LARGE toys. Most of our dogs we've had since they were a puppy. We bred not only for size but color and temperament (loveable).What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Michael
Michael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes; kept indoors in our home, socialization with multiple people and our dogs of different ages, started potty training, started kennel training, multiple dewormings, age appropriate vaccines, vet checked prior to pickup and a starter bag of Diamond puppy food. Most of our dogs and litters are ASDR registered and will include an ASDR puppy registration application. Prices vary.”

Buddy is a very handsome and sweet boy! He's a very small mini (minis run 20-40 pounds). He's very athletic and LOVES to play ball! He has one blue eye and one dark brown eye. His tan points are dark red and is a red carrier. He's ASDR registered. Has yearly wellness vet checks and vaccines.
