• Why did you start breeding?

  I have owned Yorkies since I was a young man. I consider the breed is the most intelligent of all. They are easy to train and very loving. I want every family in America to have one. Believe me, a Yorkie will change your life.

• What makes your program special?

  All my pups have access to our home all the time. They even sleep with us until they are adopted. Over the years, we find this sort of freedom makes a more socialized and loving pet, but causes us to place mats everywhere until we get them trained. The amazing thing about Yorkie pups is that instinctively they will not pee or defecate where they eat or sleep. I start training them early to make it easier on the family that adopts them. I do not vaccinate my puppies until they are at least 8 weeks old. AKC says you can give them a Distemper shot between 6 - 8 weeks. My vet will not administer any vaccines until a pup is at least 8 weeks, but there may be others who will do it earlier.

• What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

  Our puppies are black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• Where do your breeding dogs live?

  They live in my home.
