Meet the breeder

I'm Pate T., the breeder behind Milestone Goldens located in Austin, TX. My dogs are bred to the AKC breed standard and in compliance with the GRCA code of ethics. I take great pride in raising my Goldens like family- in my home and with constant care and attention. I aim to raise puppies who will grow old with your family and achieve greatness in all they do!

Q. & A. with Pate

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents introduced me into dog breeding at a young age. I grew up with hands on experience from breeding, to whelping, to puppy raising. I became truly passionate about this when I bought my first confirmation prospect and gained many wonderful mentors. I find great joy in raising puppies who go on to be a variety of things that the breed is known for from companions to a kids first sport dog.
  • What makes your program special?

When you buy a puppy from me, you gain a mentor. I care deeply about every Golden I produce and am always here for guidance or support. My puppies are raised in my home, handled daily, are introduced to ENS/ESI, and exposed to everyday life experiences. My goal is to create not just great dogs, but a supportive community of Golden lovers.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

“I take pride in each puppy going to a home where it will thrive. Depending on what you are looking for in your golden, there may be a stand out puppy in the litter that would be best for you. I of course take preference of puppy into consideration for each family! I want to ensure that whatever qualities the puppies possess lead them to homes where they will excel! ”
