This is what our afternoons look like around here. The puppies are winding down after a busy morning of playing while I catch up on applications, messages, laundry, and all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Milk & Honey running. 🤍

These enrichment toys are filled with treats, encouraging the puppies to sniff, paw, nudge, and problem-solve to earn their reward. It may look like simple play, but it’s actually helping build confident, curious little minds. Activities like this teach puppies that it’s okay to explore new things, work through challenges, and use their brains. Mental enrichment is just as important as physical exercise, and introducing it early helps lay the foundation for confident, resilient companions. Every new experience matters, and these little moments are all part of preparing them for life beyond our home.

Breakfast for these babies this morning. 🤍 I may spoil them a little, but breakfast is such an important meal especially for growing puppies. A nutritious start to the day helps support healthy growth, brain development, digestion, immune health, and steady energy levels while they’re developing so quickly. This morning’s breakfast includes: • Scrambled egg whites for a gentle source of protein • Fresh Pet Puppy chicken recipe for balanced nutrition • Chicken broth for added hydration and flavor • Plain Greek yogurt to support gut health with probiotics • Blueberries packed with antioxidants and vitamins Safe to say these babies eat better than most people. 🫶

𝑻𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒑 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 🤍 We stopped by to see Lacey, Brittany & Chablee for nail trims, and they were all so impressed with how calm they were. They kept going on about how social and loving and sweet they are 🥹 It truly makes my heart swell when people notice the difference in our puppies. Then we headed to 3 Daughters Coffee for a quick outing and an iced coffee for me, no pup cups just yet, but they’ll definitely get one next time! Got in a little more car exposure, and they did so good. Tomorrow is another adventure.

About Story
Story is beyond special to us. She’s what we believe a Goldendoodle should be — happy-go-lucky, eager to please, full of heart, and ready to love everyone she meets. Seriously… this girl has never met a stranger in her life! She’s the definition of sunshine. She adores car rides, pup cups, and being anywhere her people are. She has a gentle, golden-retriever spirit that makes her easy to love and even easier to live with. Story isn’t just a great dog, she’s truly the best dog. But just when I thought I couldn’t love her more… she became a mama. And let me tell you, she blew me away. From the moment her puppies arrived, Story stepped into motherhood with so much grace, gentleness, and intuition. She was instantly attentive, and that bond has never wavered. She shares something incredibly special with her son Coast, who we’ve kept back from her. The way they connect is something you can’t teach it’s just pure love. Story Wren brings warmth, joy, and heart to everything she does and we’re so lucky to have her in our lives and our program.

About Coast
Meet Coast — our keeper from Story’s Sweethearts and an absolute dream in both looks and temperament. He’s the perfect balance of playful and calm, which made it an easy decision to keep him in our program. From the moment he was born, we knew he was meant to be ours. We’ve completed a full Goldendoodle panel and selected trait testing, and we’re thrilled to share that Coast is genetically clear outside of embark testing. His health and temperament make him a wonderful addition to our program, and we’re so excited about his future with us!

About Winnie
Winnie radiates love, joy, and confidence in every step. Small in stature, huge in personality. She joined our program last year alongside her BFF Cova Reece, and the two have been inseparable ever since. They play, snuggle, and run the house together like they own it — and honestly, we’re just here for it. Winnie is incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and always bouncing with happy-go-lucky energy. She sets the bar for what a small poodle should be: sweet, loving, and so full of heart. And yes — her registered name is Winnie the Poodle. Naming isn’t our strong suit, but we couldn’t resist how cute it sounded (and honestly… it fits her perfectly). Our vision with Winnie is something special: we’re planning for toy Goldendoodles in the future by pairing her with our boy Coast. We’re also open to doing an AKC Poodle litter if we get enough interest, because this little girl has so much to offer in both worlds. We’re so thankful for the joy and love Winnie brings to our program. She may be tiny, but she’s making a huge impact.

About Cova
Say hello to the girl who’s as sweet as her name… Cova Reece. Cova joined us last year with a special purpose — to help us start our beautiful chocolate lines. But what we didn’t expect was just how much joy she’d bring with her. She’s playful, loving, and full of personality… a true goofball with a heart of gold (or should we say cocoa?). She’s always making us laugh with her silly antics, whether she’s trotting around with a toy or splashing into the pool like the little water dog she is. Squeaky toys? Consider them destroyed. Chews? Obsessed. Walks? Her absolute favorite. But no matter what she’s doing, Cova is happiest when she’s with her people — or roughhousing with her doggy friends. She has the kind of sweet, outgoing nature that makes her instantly lovable and a joy to be around. We’re so excited for what the future holds with Cova Reece in our program. She’s already added so much heart, and we know she’s just getting started.

About Hattie
Hattie isn’t just a part of our program, she’s a piece of our heart. She’s a second-generation girl from our very own lines, which makes watching her step into motherhood all the more meaningful. She’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and the true definition of a “mama’s girl.” Hattie loves her chews, loves her people even more, and will happily spend the entire day curled up next to you. She’s soft, calm, and full of quiet confidence. As a mama, she’s absolutely amazing. Hattie is gentle, attentive, and so in tune with her babies. She makes raising puppies look effortless, and we see her best qualities passed down in every litter. Hattie lives in a wonderful guardian Home.

I really enjoyed speaking with Holly and was so impressed by how knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated she is. It was clear how much love and effort she puts into her dogs and the overall process. What stood out to me most was how seriously she takes health testing on the parents, which I truly value and appreciate. That level of responsibility and transparency gave me a lot of confidence and showed how committed she is to producing healthy, well-rounded puppies. Hunter is adorable and I’m so happy my family found him!

Holly was so responsive and wonderful throughout this process. We brought Bentley (Stitch) home on Friday and he has settled in so quickly. The personality testing Holly had performed was spot on. He is the most gentle, snuggly lap dog with playful energy. We have had zero potty accidents. He has taken to the potty pads with zero issues and has also been successful with outdoor potty breaks. He doesn’t cry in his crate at all. Holly is very knowledgeable and raises the best puppies. When it’s time for us to bring another home I will not hesitate to reach out to Holly again.

We had been looking for a dog that would be a good companion, small in stature, but had a desire to be around it's family. After stumbling upon Holly's (Milk & Honey Doodles) profile on Good Dog, we were smitten with her pups. From our first inquiries, to her helping us determine which pup would best meet our needs, to her working with us to get him to Nebraska safely, EVERYTHING met or exceeded our expectations. Great, clear communication and steady updates about how "Fred" was doing. Fred instantly bonded with us, is almost fully potty trained, plays fetch and sits before eating or getting a treat and we've had him for two weeks. He's such a smarty! We are so happy to have Fred in our family.

Holly was fantastic throughout the entire process. She raises amazing puppies and keeps in contact the whole way. Provides plenty of pictures and videos to help fill those anxious times while you wait for them to be ready to come home. Moxi formally Mittens has been home 6 days now and instantly adjusted. Potty and crate training has been super easy. Moxi loves to snuggle and has a very fun personality. She fits in so well with our family and had no issues meeting and being around a Great Dane. Holly's puppies are very confident, loving, and playful addition to any household!

Holly is incredibly kind and caring. She is a great puppy caretaker and seems to pour her heart into it. We were thrilled to meet Charlie (previously Twill), and he is the such an adorably sweet puppy. He’s only been home for a few days and he’s doing great on his potty and crate training. Holly obviously laid a great foundation in the first 8 weeks. She is also happy to answer my many puppy questions, and we’re grateful to have her as a resource. We would highly recommend Holly if you’re looking for a wonderful Goldendoodle!
