Meet the breeder

I'm Rachel M., the breeder behind Mimis dainty daxis located in Lady Lake, FL. I prioritize health, quality & temperament to produce exceptional dachshunds. This ensures that the puppies excel as loyal and loving companions from our family to yours.

Q. & A. with Rachel

  • Why did you start breeding?

What began as a deep love for these charming little dogs has grown into a lifestyle centered around care, quality and connection.
  • What makes your program special?

Every dachshund is raised in a warm, family environment where love, socialization and early development come first. I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each puppy receives individual attention from the moment they’re born. Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, piebald, cream, black, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
