All of this is to make the transition from our home to your home as easy as possible!

Q. & A. with Lucy

  • What makes your program special?

We only breed AKC-registered Dachshunds. We don’t cut corners with registration so no CKC puppies here! All of the inclusions also set us apart from other breeders because you don’t have to pay for anything but basic upkeep when you go home. You don’t have to worry about your puppy’s microchip information being uploaded or the registration paperwork being sent in, we take care of all of that!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Our family couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Lucy and the Mini Dots team. She was communicative and responsive from the very beginning – sending us pictures of progress, answering all our questions. We appreciated that she stayed on top of paperwork, communicated with us about the timing for the puppy’s shots and registration, and provided us with all the forms and info we would need for the vet. It was also so kind of her to give us a goodie bag to help make the transition as smooth as possible. The first vet visit went great. After his exam, the vet said he is “perfect”. Besides being totally adorable, Koa is playful, friendly, and smart - such a sweet, fun addition to our family. We love him so!

Working with Lucy was an incredibly easy experience. We decided which pup we wanted about a month before he was old enough to come home, and she answered all our questions, sent us photos and videos as he started growing, and made everything as easy and convenient for us as possible. Outstanding experience.

This was a great experience with Lucy! I’ve never used a breeder and hadn’t had a puppy in 20 years! Our Oscar is amazing! Lucy was very responsive and very helpful! Thank you!

The Good Dog site led us to Lucy. We found our Penny on the link to Lucy. The process is very easy. The short wait seems forever. Our Penny was prepared to be family the day we brought her home. She hnows where to potty. She is a snuggler and loves people. She and our two year old AussieDoodle are pals. Penny was the perfect fit for us. Oh and she is good in my office.

Lucy was a pleasure to work with, we had lots of questions since it was our first time buying a puppy from a breeder. She was patient and very good at keeping up with communication. Our little pup Ramona is a doll and super sweet & sassy. You can tell that Lucy & her husband take very good care of the pups. This was a great experience and we are happy with our little girl.
