I'm Micah G., the breeder behind MiniDoxPups located in Sacramento, CA. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! Quality, health-tested, and socialized dogs are the principal components of our success as reputable breeders. We’re proud of the seamless transition our puppies are able to make as fun, lovable family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Miniature dachshunds have been a part of our family for nearly twenty years! Starting with our first dachshunds, Wally and Daisy, our passion for the breed has only flourished. As our family has grown, each of our family households have continued to raise litters and share our love of minis. From their small stature, long bodies, and big personalities, dachshunds have made our homes happier.

  • What makes your program special?

    We follow all veterinarian recommended guidelines including pre-breed health checks, deworming, as well as providing timely and appropriate vaccines for each litter. Litters will get pee pad, crate, recall, and touch training + desensitized to fireworks, kids, and other pets. We combine our efforts to provide our litters with the best attention and care before going to their forever home.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, cream, red, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and cream, black and cream, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Micah

Micah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Micah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
