Minerva Y.

Breeder of Yorkshire Terriers

Meet the breeder

I'm Minerva Y., the breeder behind Minnie's Yorkshire Terriers of Ohio located in Cardington, OH. We are a very small scale breeder with 1 or 2 litters a year. We breed for temperament, health, size and great looking dogs . Puppies are well socialized and get 2 vet visits before they go to new homes. We do tail docking and dewclaws on all puppies.

Q. & A. with Minerva

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2018 after a move from country living to a small house in town I started looking into different dog breeds that will fit my lifestyle. After lots of research I choose the Yorkshire Terrier. I bought two Yorkie girls and my love for the breed grew from there. When I saw the joy these little bundles bring when people pick up their puppy I knew I was in it for the long haul.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chocolate and tan, parti, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
