I'm Janice J., the breeder behind Miracle Shih Tzu located in Hudson, OH. I'm a Shih Tzu Lover. I've loved the breed for at least forty years but I haven't been breeding that long. We breed Shih Tzu dogs for health, temperament, and conformation with an emphasis on early stimulation and socialization.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding after my family relocated from Texas to Ohio about ten years ago. I had bred a couple of litters in my 20s but spent most of my adult work career working with children. After relocating, I read extensively and took a few online classes to refresh my memory and bring myself up to date with the latest information about veterinary medicine and breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    My buyers would probably say that it is the professionalism that I bring to the table, along with the fact that I have an advanced degree in psychology. Communication is another factor that my buyers appreciate. Most of all, though, they love the puppies they get from me because they are well socialized, healthy, and happy, and have excellent dispositions. Our pricing is right. I offer puppies at reasonable rates but people feel as though they get their money's worth. I do feel that I over-deliver above and beyond what other breeders near me do.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, liver, and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC limited registration, a health certificate and guarantee, breed info. dewormings, shots, a microchip, and a puppy bag that has a scented blanket, food, toys, and sample products. The $200 non-refundable deposit holds the puppy until he/she is ready to go home. Deposits are only refunded if something happens to the puppy. The full amount, minus the deposit is collected when the puppy goes home.”

Janice may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
