  • Why did you start breeding?

    My first pet as a small child was a dachshund mix and I’ve always loved them. As my four kids grew older, and I had more free time, I knew I wanted a dachshund again. I researched and chose a puppy, and couldn’t wait to meet her. In the breeder’s home, surrounded by dachshunds begging for love, I knew I wanted my home to be that full! I got another, and another and here we are! ❤️

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Missy

Missy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Missy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies are matched no sooner than two weeks. I discuss with the family what they are looking for, in temperament and size. I want to know if they have other pets, how the dog will be cared for, etc. **I want to get to know you on social media also. I do my best to judge their personalities as young as possible but I can never guarantee temperament or size.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price range listed is for limited AKC/pet only, or unregistered puppies. Please ask if you’re interested in full AKC breeding rights. Nonrefundable deposit goes toward the total cost of the puppy. Exception: If it is MY decision that the puppy cannot be rehomed for any reason, the deposit MAY be refunded.”

Missy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
