I'm Lisa C., the breeder behind Misty Dajavue Shih-Tzu located in Pleasant Hill, MO. We have been showing Shih Tzu in AKC comfirmation dog shows since 1994. We are known in the show world for our beautiful faces and loving temperaments. Many of our dogs have careers in pet therapy making people smile. Our puppies are all raised in our home as part of our family and are highly socialized.

Why did you start breeding?
I first wanted a pet who looked like the pictures I seen in books so I purchased one and grew her hair long. She still didn't look beautiful like the books so I set out to find another one. Needless to say I did and one thing led to another and I began showing. The rest is history!What makes your program special?
We breed for health temperament and of course those beautiful faces that I'm known for.Where do your breeding dogs live?
