I'm Julianne M., the breeder behind Mitchell Corgis located in Early, TX. Our dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. They make excellent family pets. We breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.
Q. & A. with Julianne
Why did you start breeding?
My mother started raising German Shepherds when I was 7. Then I had a seeing eye dog puppy(Labrador) as a 4-H project. So then we started raising hunting Labradors and became very active training and competing. During that time I wanted a truck pup to go on the trips with me and that's when I got my first Corgi which was 18 years ago. Collectively I've been raising dogs for almost 30 years. I put alot of effort into breeding healthy and intelligent parents so that I may better the breed and give my puppy customers piece of mind that I will be there for the life of that puppy if they need me.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black, black and tan, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
