Julie R.

Breeder of French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Julie R., the breeder behind MJ Frenchies located in Woodstock, VA. Our puppies are raised in our home and given the upmost care. We have been raising Frenchies since 2010 and love what we do. Once you get a puppy from us, you are part of the family and we ask that you stay in touch.

Q. & A. with Julie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Many years ago, I began my venture into the dog world by breeding and showing Chihuahuas. I had a blast showing and even finished an AKC Champion. After a period of time, I decided to focus on my true love of breeds...the French Bulldog. In 2007, we got our first French Bulldog and it was love at first sight. These are wonderful family dogs and adapt to many different environments.
  • What makes your program special?

We always strive to produce French Bulldogs as close to the breed standard as possible. We do not breed for quantity. We breed specifically for quality puppies that will mature into beautiful adults. We produce standard colors; as well as, some of the rare colors. We ONLY breed health tested adults. We are NOT a kennel. Dogs have full run of the house and are members of our family. We are a very small scale breeder and strive to stay that way.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
