We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

    Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies include blue merle and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $300 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Monarch BorderCollies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Border Collies.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Our experience with Monarch BorderCollies was absolutely amazing! We had to drive in from Vegas to get our little girl and Kristen made the whole process easy! She sent updated photos along the way and answered every question with kindness and concern. The day of pick up was wonderful! She had Athena bathed and fed and ready to go with a little car package of food, blanket and information of shot records. I highly highly recommend if you want a quality dog from a quality breeder, then choose Monarch Border Collies
