Meet the breeder

I'm Clarissa, the breeder behind Monarch Labradoodles located in Rochester, MI. After lots of research and careful consideration, my husband and I discovered the Australian Labradoodle. We decided to bite the bullet and get one. This was one of the best decisions we have made. These dogs are awesome. They have a fun, playful nature and are fabulous with kids. Best of all, my son and I have had no trouble with our allergies. The non-shedding, allergy-friendly coat is the real deal. That was it, I was in love. These dogs have brought my family and me so much joy. There is nothing better than coming home and knowing that they are waiting for you with unconditional love and excitement in their eyes.

Q. & A. with Clarissa

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up I never had a dog due to having horrible allergies. I didn’t think I would ever be a dog owner. Then I had children who desperately wanted a puppy. We discovered the Australian Labradoodle breed and fell in love. I wanted other people like me to be able to know the unconditional love and joy dogs bring to your life so I decided to start breeding them.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are delivered in our home and are loved and taken care of by my whole family. We take special care of raising them to be well socialized, well-rounded dogs. We follow the Puppy Culture model of raising our puppies. We give each puppy lots of love and attention. We breed to the standards of all three Australian Labradoodle organizations.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, caramel red, red, gold, apricot, cream, chalk, chocolate, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
