I'm Connie C., the breeder behind Moonlight Yorkies and Biewer Terriers located in Port Huron, MI. We breed and show our dogs out of a love for and dedication to the protection and betterment of the breed. We are a breeder of Yorkshire Terriers and Biewer Terriers for both shows and family pets. Q. & A. with Connie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love of Yorkies started when I was in the Detroit area and saw my first Yorkie at a pet store. It took about 18 years later for me to be reintroduced to the breed when my neighbor bought one. Since my early 20s, I have been breeding and showing Poodles and Afghanhounds I have had Biewer Terriers for about 4 years.. I took a 20-year break to raise my daughter, after she grew up, I went back to showing Yorkies.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs have been in agility, obedience, and therapy dog training. We also breed Biewer Terriers. This is a fairly new Breed to AKC. Not to be confused with Party Yorkies.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
