I'm Lisa M., the breeder behind Moss' Cross Creek Aussie’s located in Murphy, NC. We raise AKC and AKC\ASCA Standard Australian Shepherds. Our dogs are our family. They are raised inside and are very spoiled. Our dogs are lower drive; they work and play hard but they also have no problem having a lazy day of laying on the couch. We strive to better the breed.
Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Aussies started many years ago when we purchased a Blue Merle male named Trouble. We had never been around an Aussie but we learned very quickly that they are the best breed ever. Years later, our children grew up and left the nest. Feeling lonely we decided to add a fur baby to our family. One became two, two became three and the rest is history. That is how Cross Creek Aussie’s was born.
What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are AKC registered and we take great pride in offering genetically tested healthy pups. Our dogs are spoiled and cared for tremendously. There is no greater joy than matching our pups with the perfect forever family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
