Why did you start breeding?
My great uncle's Dachshunds stole my heart when I was young, and I never really got it back. Five years ago, Oaken came home and sealed my fate — Briar followed not long after. Our pups grow up woven into our daily life and routines, loved as family until the day they find yours. Your first Dachshund isn't just a dog. It's an initiation. Welcome to the cult.What makes your program special?
Our puppies don't live in a kennel — they live with us. From day one they join our daily rhythm on a Colorado mountain farm, surrounded by horses, goats, chickens, and pigs. Farm life is in the air they breathe and on every pair of boots that walks through the door. They receive constant love, attention, and human interaction every single day — because to us, they already are family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Amber has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amber partners with them to find the best puppy match.

When you take one of our pups home, you're not just getting a dog. You're joining our little family too.”
Price
“Includes first shots, deworming, vet exam, and microchip. Each pup goes home with a bag of food, a cozy blanket, and toys to start their new adventure. Registerable with America's Pet Registry (APR). The Deposit shall be applied to the final Purchase Price. Buyer acknowledges that the Deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, but can be transferred to another puppy.”

About Oaken
Oaken holds a special place in our hearts. He was the very first Dachshund we ever owned, and the reason we fell in love with the breed for good. He truly is the perfect first child: easy to potty train, exceptionally well-mannered, and always on his best behavior. Incredibly friendly by nature, Oaken is usually the first to greet any visitor through our door, and he's never met a critter he didn't want to cuddle. Raised on our farm, he's grown up comfortable and gentle around all kinds of animals. Oaken is a devoted little spoon, sleeping snuggled up with me every single night. He's also a firm believer in sleeping in, mornings are never something to rush. But once he's up, his playful side shines: he loves chasing light dots and waging an ongoing battle with the vacuum cleaner, convinced it's something to be conquered (or eaten). With his sweet, easygoing temperament and playful spirit, Oaken is everything we love about this breed. Oaken is registered with APR (American Pet Registry).

About Luna
Luna is the baby of our family and she fully believes she's a genuine, human baby herself. Our kids carry her all around the house, and she happily hops at our feet asking for "uppies" whenever she wants a lift. She's like a sack of potatoes in the best way, going completely limp and falling asleep in the kids' arms with total, unwavering trust. Luna is incredibly affectionate and full of personality — goofy, funny, and always finding a reason to flop onto her back for belly rubs. Being younger, she's a bit more reserved around new people at first, often giving them an enthusiastic combination of licks and barks until she warms up. As one of our kids put it best: Luna simply existing makes them happy. She may be tiny, but she is absolutely mighty — sassy, spirited, and never afraid to let her big personality show. Luna is a beautiful chocolate-colored girl who carries dapple lines (her dam is dapple), making her an exciting addition to our breeding program.

About Briar
Briar is the heart of our breeding program. She is an exceptional mother with a gentle, loving disposition that makes her an absolute joy to have around. Her litters consistently arrive plump, healthy, and thriving; her puppies are truly the picture of robust little sausages from day one. Briar is deeply affectionate and thrives on closeness. She sleeps with me every night, burrowing under the blankets or curling up on my chest. She's a true snuggler through and through. Raised on our farm, Briar gets daily exposure to a wide variety of animals, sounds, and experiences, and she handles all of it beautifully. She's wonderful with other dogs and animals alike, though don't let her sweetness fool you, she also rules the household with a confident, no-nonsense attitude, making sure everyone stays in line! Briar is registered with APR (American Pet Registry).
