Meet the breeder

I'm Laura M., the breeder behind Mountain Trail Aussies located in West Virginia. Mountain Trail Aussies is family focused and raise our dogs to hit the trails along side us. We strive to produce the highest quality pups possible, not only with health and genetics, but temperaments. We have produced therapy, service, and working dogs. From birth we work to prepare them for you!

Q. & A. with Laura

  • Why did you start breeding?

The Aussie has been the most perfect fit for our adventurous family. After struggling to locate the quality pups we desired on the east coast, we decided to put our passion to work to help others. We feel personally responsible to God for how we raise these pups, so we always strive to give them the absolute best.
  • What makes your program special?

Because we pour everything into raising these pups, we are fully confident when we place them with their furever families. From intense testing to strong enrichment programs starting at birth, there is zero doubt in our mind to the high quality we produce. Both of our veterinarians chose us when looking for their new pets. We couldn’t be more honored for their support!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
