I'm Whittney E., the breeder behind Mountain Valley Farm Great Danes located in Surgoinsville, TN. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We took our love of Great Danes to the next level! We started with one…got one more…and decided to start a breeding program under the guidance of our breeder.

  • What makes your program special?

    We work extra hard to uphold the values of ethical breeders. We get our parent dogs health tested and vet checked. We also put a lot of time and effort into socializing and acclimating our pups to new experiences so that they can be the most confident and well rounded pup for their new family.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Whittney

Whittney has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first rounds of puppy shots and vet checks, puppy starter pack, and socialization. The deposit is non-refundable but does go toward the full price of the puppy. The deposit can be transferrable to another puppy if another puppy is available.”

    Whittney was so great to work with and super responsive with all the questions we had leading up to us getting our puppy! You can tell they really care about their dogs! The morning she was supposed to fly our boy down to us, he ended up being too heavy to fly (he’s a big boy!). Instead of rescheduling, Whittney hopped in a car and ended up driving the 12+ hours down to us and we still got to pick him up the same day! Overall, they were amazing to work with and we would recommend them to anyone.
