Meet the breeder

I'm Gerryleah, the breeder behind Moxxi's Legacy Corgis located in San Antonio, TX. Our mission is to provide top-quality, well-socialized, and loving companions for families. At Moxxi's Legacy, we prioritize the health, temperament, and overall well-being of our dogs and puppies. Our puppies are raised in our home, as part of our family, where they receive daily attention, love, and care. We dedicate countless hours to socializing and nurturing each litter, ensuring that they are well-prepared to transition into their forever homes. Our focus is on creating well-rounded, confident puppies who will thrive in their new families. We take great pride in the careful attention we give to every aspect of their development, from early socialization to health monitoring, ensuring they are equipped with the best start in life. We genuinely care for each of our puppies, and we are confident that you will fall in love with them just as much as we do.

Q. & A. with Gerryleah

  • Why did you start breeding?

Corgis have always held a special place in my husband's heart, and when we tragically lost our first corgi, Moxxi, we were devastated. The grief was overwhelming, and we found it incredibly difficult to find another dog who could fill the hole she left in our lives. Eventually, we found Remy, and his amazing breeder, which sparked a deep interest in breeding and the world of Corgis. After years of research, learning, and gaining experience, we knew we wanted to contribute to this wonderful breed and share the joy that Corgis bring to families. Nearly 10 years later, here we are, working to raise healthy, happy, and well-socialized Corgis who will bring the same love and joy to others as our beloved Moxxi and Remy brought to us.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our breeding program special is the care, attention, and love we pour into every single puppy we raise. All of our dogs, both adult and puppies, are raised in our home as part of the family. Our puppies are litterbox and grasspad trained, acclimated to both dogs and cats, and introduced to daily family life. This ensures they grow up well-socialized, confident, and ready to fit seamlessly into your home. We take the health and well-being of our dogs very seriously, which is why we conduct standard health testing and provide regular vet visits. Our puppies receive above-and-beyond veterinary care, and we ensure that each one is healthy, happy, and thriving before they join their forever families. To offer peace of mind, we also provide health guarantees for our puppies, knowing that the future of our dogs is just as important to us as it is to you. Our commitment is to raise well-rounded, healthy, and loving Corgis that will bring joy to your family for years to come. When you take home a Moxxi’s Legacy puppy, you’re not just a client—you’re joining our family. We offer lifetime breeder support and stay in contact with every family that adopts one of our pups. We have a vibrant community on Facebook, where you can share updates, ask questions, and connect with other Moxxi’s Legacy families. Our commitment to you and your puppy doesn’t end when they leave our home—it’s just the beginning of a lifelong relationship
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Limited AKC: $2500 Full AKC Registration is offered exclusively to established AKC breeders - $3500.00 Docked or Natural Tails: We are happy to offer puppies with natural tails. However, please note that in this case, we require the full payment for the puppy at the time of reservation, rather than the standard $500 deposit. This policy is in place because it can be more challenging to place a tailed puppy if the family later decides to cancel and forfeit their deposit. The benefit of reserving a natural-tailed puppy is that you will have the opportunity to secure one of the first picks, as tail modifications must be done within the first 2-4 days of age. In the case of multiple families wanting a tailed puppy, reservations will be handled in the order of application approval. The $500 deposit paid by the buyer to Moxxi's Legacy Corgis is non-refundable, unless Moxxi's Legacy Corgis chooses to terminate the agreement. In the event the buyer chooses to terminate the agreement, it will be at the sole discretion of Moxxi's Legacy Corgis, based on the reasons and circumstances of the cancellation, whether the deposit may be transferred to a future litter or if the deposit will be forfeited. All deposits, funds, and money related to this transaction will be collected and secured by Gooddog. If the buyer wishes to keep the natural tail on a puppy, the full price of $2,500 must be paid in total, and this decision must be made and payment must be received within the first 5 days of the puppy's life.”

Contract & health guarantee

Gerryleah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Gerryleah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Gerryleah directly.

Gerryleah was very quick and helpful when we had questions about our new girl, Chloe. She, very obviously, loves her dogs and wants them to go to good homes. She asked plenty of questions and wanted to make sure that Chloe was, not only, a good fit for us, but that we were also a good fit for her. She was responsive, sent pictures, was informative, and gave us an amazing experience while finding our new little girl. 10/10 would recommend!

Gerryleah was amesome and whole experience was great. Puppy was so amazing. Happy and healthy and so well behaved. Super social and loves people and other dogs, very well socialized and outgoing! Gerryleah was very responsive and gave update on status consistently. And when I picked up my puppy she provided a starter kit with everything a fur parent needs. She also gave us a puppy pad set. That was absolutely amazing. Puppy was potty trained and knew to go on the fake grass kit! That made potty training and sleeping through the night a breeze because puppy was potty trained at 10 weeks! Overall awesome experience and Gerryleah was a pleasure to work with on adding our new family member!

Our Corgi, Harold, is not only healthy and well-socialized, but also has the sweetest temperament. It’s clear he came from a loving and attentive environment. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful Corgi companion!
