Dana M.

Breeder of Cane Corso

Meet the breeder

I'm Dana M., the breeder behind MTZCC Ranch, LLC located in San Isidro, TX. We are homestead-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, intelligent, and high-quality Cane Corsos into the homes and hearts of their forever families. By creating an environment of health and harmony for young puppies, we believe we are able to give each little pup the very best chance to reach its potential, express its best character, and bring forth its greatest gifts in the relationship with itself and to its family.

Q. & A. with Dana

  • Why did you start breeding?

As owners of Corsi we quickly found that they were great guardians and lovable family members when raised, trained & socialized properly. Being enthusiasts of this majestic breed desire only that they are preserved, understood and loved as they should be.
  • What makes your program special?

As a small breeder we plan to have limited litters only when we need dogs for our ranch & homestead and have enough great homes to place our puppies. At this time, we do not have any litters planned and are focusing more on building our ranch livestock and infrastructure. We believe in breeding puppies that make great pets & guardians, carefully selecting our breeding dogs and performing health checks to ensure the best possible outcome for our litters. Our puppies have been socialized and raised with love using Puppy Culture & Avidog guidelines in our home to prepare them for their new families. We are very proud at how well our past puppies are developing and cannot thank their wonderful families enough for their research and dedication to love, train and socialize their new family members.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chestnut brindle, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in a kennel on my property.
