Muddy River Dachshunds is a quality AKC dachshund breeder, offering miniature and tweenie size dachshund puppies for sale. We are regularly inspected by AKC and one of the very few Texas licensed dachshund breeders in the State of TEXAS! Our Pricing listed is firm. Our dogs are sold on a spay/neuter contract with limited akc only. Proof of spay/neuter must be received before releasing limited papers as well as the contract.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for animals expanded into the dachshund breed over two decades ago. We developed a program over the years that exceeds most. Personality is a priority for us, making sure we are breeding family friendly temperament dogs. Pricing is firm and reflects the time and expenses we put into our program.
What makes your program special?
Family owned and operated. We take pride in our beautiful dachshunds with their family temperaments, genetic screenings, gorgeous colors and wonderful personalities!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
