Q. & A. with Sandy
Why did you start breeding?
My name is Sandy N., and I’ve been surrounded by dachshunds for as long as I can remember. From the moment I had my first dachshund, I became a true enthusiast of the breed. Today, I’m proud to play a role in preserving the quality, temperament, and standards that make dachshunds so special.
What makes your program special?
My dachshunds are my babies ,part of my family. All of my dogs are family-raised in a loving home environment. I breed each female just once a year until retirement, ensuring their health and well-being always come first. I’m committed to raising well-rounded puppies with excellent temperaments, and I make sure they are kennel trained, started on potty training, ready to thrive in their new homes.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate and tan, blue and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
