Q. & A. with Janel
Why did you start breeding?
My family raised dogs while I was growing up, so I basically grew up breeding dogs. I am a huge animal lover and worked at a vet clinic for many years as a veterinary technician. Seeing all the breeds that came through the clinic was so much fun, but also solidified my love of Yorkies!
What makes your program special?
Each of our breeding stock is genetically tested for over 190 different congenital issues. Each litter is raised in our home and socialized with other dogs, our cats, and people. We spend a lot of time training and loving on our puppies so they can join their new family with confidence!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
