I'm Jackie N., the breeder behind Muskoka Strong American Bulldogs located in Raeford, NC. Our goal is to produce dogs with great temperaments and structurally sound dogs. We do so by health testing all of our dogs! We are a small kennel that believes in proving our breeding dogs in both the conformation ring as well as on the working field. Temperaments are my top priority. Health testing for breed-specific issues is very important. We offer a 2-year health guarantee on all puppies sold. All of our dogs are raised in the house with us. We offer lifetime support to all puppy buyers and they become part of the Muskoka Strong family.
Q. & A. with Jackie
Why did you start breeding?
By showing I have met many people that have been in the breed for many years. By talking to them, I have learned what a well-put-together American Bulldog looks and moves like. I also learned that my dogs were very much a good representation of the breed. At that point, I decided to try breeding for a better Bulldog.
What makes your program special?
I don’t feel my program is any more special than any other good breeder, but I strive to produce better than anyone else. I feel that health testing is of the utmost importance and I take great care in breeding each and every litter.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
