I'm Sheila R., the breeder behind My Awesome Rover located in Cullman, AL. As a retired RN, I am very “health conscious” with all my puppies. All of our puppies are very well socialized by my grandchildren! I have all grandparents and parents of the puppies I breed. I strive to make sure all our puppies are healthy and will make their new family a wonderful best friend.
Q. & A. with Sheila
Why did you start breeding?
I had a wonderful Golden Retriever female and a very smart miniature Poodle. I wanted to combine the temperament of the retriever with the intelligence of the poodle to get a near perfect dog. By doing this I had not only smart, loyal, calm pups but also hypoallergenic and beautiful ones!
What makes your program special?
I strive to keep my adult dogs and puppies healthy with all preventative measures. I love on all my puppies and so do my grandchildren. They are very well socialized with children and other dogs. They are kept in my “doggie condo” which has the same living conditions as my home.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
