I'm Dawn S., the breeder behind My Tzu Crew located in Cook County, IL. I am a home-based breeder that is dedicated to bringing healthy, smart, quality pups into the hearts of their new forever families. I've been breeding quality Shih Tzus since 1997. My focus is on making the transition from my home to yours as easy as possible! I can't wait to connect with you!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
When I bring a life into the world, I make sure it gets the best start ...possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. I set my puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, and beauty. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies. Dawn was absolutely wonderful to work with. She takes meticulous care of the puppies and the mommies. I would have a hard time purchasing a puppy from anyone else. My experience with My Tzu Crew was great! Dawn is an openly caring breeder who is invested in making sure her puppies go into loving homes. Dawn shared pictures of my puppy over the weeks and kept me apprised of his progress. Plus her puppies not only had toys to play with but also a puppy play area with various doggy tunnels. Dawn was also very responsive to any questions I had. Dawn also provided paperwork with the information on all of his shots so I can give the information to my vet.
