I'm Lisa M., the breeder behind MyGaDachs located in Evans, GA. We breed champion pedigrees for pet and show homes. Our dogs are all health tested and receive proper veterinary care. We breed amazing temperaments and conformationally correct structures. We are preservation breeders who are willing to learn and help others along the way! Why did you start breeding?
We are passionate about Dachshunds and have built that love and respect for the breed into every aspect of our program. We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Dachshund while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.What makes your program special?
We take great care with each breeding to ensure we are producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed. We love what we do and truly want the very best for our puppies and their forever families. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Lisa
Lisa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Lisa partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 10 weeks old.

Price
“The price includes microchip, first vaccination, proof of negative fecal, health guarantee, all the pictures and videos I have of the puppy. A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required once the puppies are born and over a week old.”

Parent health testing
Excellent level
MyGaDachs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dachshunds.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
