I'm Jazmyne S., the breeder behind Mystic Moon Poodles located in Selah, WA. We are an ethical breeder working on offering puppies from health-tested and titled parents. Our dogs are part of our family first and foremost. Our goal is to breed healthy, multi-colored Poodles that make incredible family companions, sport and show prospects while improving the breed overall.
We show our dogs to at LEAST UKC Champion and health test them beyond CHIC standards.
Q. & A. with Jazmyne
Why did you start breeding?
I worked at a Xolo breeding kennel and decided that is what I wanted to do, along with dog grooming, but with Poodles instead! I am dedicated to continuing my education on breeding for my own program and look forward to sharing these incredible dogs with other loving families and individuals.
What makes your program special?
All my dogs, animals, and puppies are a part of my family first, and they are treated as such! All health tests will be done before breeding and dogs will have titles on them as well. I love my dogs and reach for excellence with everything that I do. I will always strive to make each puppy a great contribution to its new forever home!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, silver-beige, white, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Vesper
Vesper is a wonderful brown sable with a happy, can do attitude. She loves her people and has a higher drive with the desire to please. She is started in agility and loving every moment, has always been a pleasure to show and easy to train. She loves DASH and Precision Coursing and has successful pulls in weight pull as well. She is also a back up service dog in training. She has been a wonderful mother and is always nice to new dogs, never grouchy. She loves my toddler and loves to snuggle and get her one on one pets every night.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Good level
Mystic Moon Poodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Day Blindness, Achromatopsia, Optimal Selection Genetic Disease Analysis (180+ Diseases), DNA Profile, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
