I'm Lisa M., the breeder behind Nana's Wild and Wonderful Aussies located in Princeton, WV. We focus on preparing our babies for family life. We encourage those interested in researching the breed to prepare them for the needs of their new puppy as well as insuring they are educated about the breed not just the cute puppy they've fallen in love with. We are with buyers for the life of their puppy. We DO NOT SHIP. IF families want transport they must arrange it all and handle all expenses. This must be all agreed upon by us prior to finalizing travel. My buyers have all been so happy with their babies. They all praise how well they adjust, how well they are already trained, and their dispositions.

Why did you start breeding?
I began agility with my 1st girl and fell in love with the breed. I decided to share this incredible experience with others as I was blessed with some amazing dogs.What makes your program special?
My babies are family raised which I feel is incredibly important for them as well as their prospective families. I use only well rounded, healthy, even tempered parents to create a well rounded baby. The love we pour into our animals is by far unmatched. We DO NOT continuously breed. Only 1 litter here and there.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“AKC eligible puppies that have had tails docked and dew claws removed. Wormed every 2 weeks and vet checked with 1st vaccines given before leaving our home. Socialized with humans from toddler to adult, cats, dogs. Exposed to the outdoors after 1st vaccine and in doing so they're given the opportunity to see, hear, and smell our livestock and poultry as well as the wildlife around us. All puppies are the same price no matter eye or coat color, registration, or sex.”

About Apollo
Apollo is a very sweet, gentle, giant. He is a large standard male with a smooth coat. He is blue eyed. He listens well and has a wonderful attention span. He is more of an agility dog than a farm dog. Does not know a stranger and loves children. Our Aussies are all Standard size.

About Marilyn
Marilyn is an absolute doll who loves attention. Shes very smart and learns quickly. She has a great jump span and loves everyone and everything. She adores children and is very gentle with them. She is a water nut and loves anything to do with water. Our Aussies are all Standard size.
Parent health testing
Good level
Nana's Wild and Wonderful Aussies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Australian Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
