I'm McKenna H., the breeder behind Native Corgis located in Weatherford, TX. Here at Native Corgis, we raise our dogs in our home as pets. Our passion is our dogs and we love them like family members. We try to raise our dogs as naturally as possible. Our dogs have free roam of the house and our fenced in yard, they can come and go as they please due to the dog door.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding dogs when I was young and partnered with my mom. I showed and bred Aussies. I have since then started my own breeding program with American Corgis. I hope to better this new breed by breeding well-bred dogs, instead of for color, like most American corgi breeders do. I think the American Corgi cross creates very great personalities and adaptable puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
