I'm Tammy C., the breeder behind NC Shih Tzus by Tammy located in Kings Mountain, NC. I work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Shih Tzu puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! Our focus is on breeding healthy and happy puppies that can bring joy to their families as they do for us. We are very hands-on with our pups and give them lots of love and care!

Why did you start breeding?
I have been breeding for over 7 years. When I bought my first shih tzu, she became the love of my life and I wanted to spread that love to other families! It took me sometime to find the right male, but I knew right away when I did! So, that is where my story begin! I researched alot of information before I began and I have learned so much along the way. There is no words to describe to bringing joy to my family'sWhat makes your program special?
I emphasize healthy, quality, loved, and happy dogs! My dogs and puppies are family and treated like such! They are fed quality food and treats, get quality grooming by me 😊 quality vet care, including my puppies. They are taking to the vet for their first shots and my vet allows me to purchase vet quality dewormer so I know they are getting the best! I send my pups home with their first little groom to get them on their way to be used to the grooming table!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and tan, chocolate, black, liver and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tammy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price include AKC limited registration. If you are interested in breeding rights, that should be discussed upfront when you start your purchase. Copy of the parents pedigree, One year health guarantee, blanket and toys, socialized puppy, weekly pics and videos of your puppies first moments! Copy of your puppies vaccine record from my vet. All deposits are non refundable and are included in the price of your puppy.”
