I'm Jessica K., the breeder behind New Dawn Border Collies located in Paola, KS. The sky is the limit for a pup that is confident and biddable with finesse. To set them up for success, we focus on physical health and mental stability. From an early age we begin socialization of all our pups with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). Our goal for every pup is to build their confidence and set them up for physical and mental success. We recognize the importance of mental stimulation within every pup and strive to meet that need through basic training, enrichment toys, and introducing them to new things (people, safe animals, places, scents, sounds, etc.).

What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, brindle merle, black and white, blue merle, brindle, sable, and sable merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC and ABCA registrations, dewormer, first round of vaccines, and puppy socialization. All the puppies are the same price regardless of size and color. Non-refundable deposit required to place a hold on a puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Zuko
Zuko is a beautiful blend of confident and biddable. He is eager to please and very willing. His favorite activities are fetching the frisbee and working the herding ball. He is very keen and frequently looks for direction from me and has a natural off-switch that has been strengthened through training. He is ABCA and AKC registered. He is Embark DNA tests and has OFA's for his elbows and hips.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
