I'm Yajaira C., the breeder behind New Empire Kennels located in Las Piedras. We love our Doxies and is shown in the way we raised them , we spoil and care for them so they can trust and love foward, we believe a home is not complete until there is a dog to love , and Dachshund are the perfect combination of love and trust. U will never feel alone if u have a Dachshund home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding for many reasons , it was something I was raised doing and loved , I wanted to be a veterinary doctor but choose to stay home with my kids , breeding gave me peace and keep me close to my dream , a dream that is finally gonna start coming true ❤️.

  • What makes your program special?

    My program is special becose my dogs are part of my family , I keep un touch with my grandpups and there parents. I remember everyone and do my best to help them raised good dogs.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include wirehaired and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, and fawn (isabella). Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Yajaira

Yajaira has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Includes AKC registration, puppy pack will include delivery to FL (only) after deposit , in most pups , if you are in another state I can deliver but price may have to be adjusted. This amount will be deducted from the price of the pup."

Parent health testing

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
