I'm Zitlaly N., the breeder behind New Horizons Kennels located in Elgin, TX. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.   • Why did you start breeding?

    My primary girl is as sassy as they come, but she also has incredible intuition. I fell in love with the breed and I decided others have a right to also get to know them. It’s only fair.

  • What makes your program special?

    I firmly believe quality is the most important on anything you obtain, a house, a car, a job, or a “partner in crime.” My puppies are not cheap, they do not come from cheap parents, they are health tested, and live in a very comfortable place.   • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust, blue and rust, fawn (isabella) and rust, and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Zitlaly

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Zitlaly partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,900 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes docked tail and dew claw removed, first set of shots, deworming, socialization, basic training. Puppy deposit is non refundable, but it can be used for a different litter or puppy.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We brought Coffee home in March and she truly is an angel puppy. Her temperament is incredibly stable and gentle, especially for a Doberman puppy.     Our experience with Zitlaly was amazing. We picked Braxton as soon as he was born so his tail would not be docked and we opted to not clip his ears. Zitlaly sent us videos, updates regularly, and Braxton knew his name when we picked him up. Braxton is our first pet to get as a baby and we had a lot of questions and concerns.     It's said that everythung happens for a reason and in the case of my experience with Ztlaly this was certainly the case. My initial experience with a breeder at Gooddog was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I had all but given up finding my next dobbie. Zitlaly was my salvation! From the first message 14 weeks ago until the moment I received my dog things could not have gone better. I received a reply to every message I sent within moments. Zitlaly sent frequent updates on every stage of the pregnancy. When the litter was born Zitlaly sent photos and videos at several times each week. I just received my dog and he's better than I could have wished! I collection my dog in person, all preparations were made, AKC documents and instructions were very thorough, Zitlaly explained everything in great detail.
