I'm Adam & Valerie N., the breeder behind Newbern's Nuggets located in Brunswick, GA. Our family has a long history of raising Dachshunds. It started with our father's love for the breed which he passed down to all of his children. We have continued to breed and raise them and can't imagine life without these dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
I have been around dog breeding my entire life. My father had an affinity for Dachshunds (or carpet sharks as he liked to call them). He would occasionally breed his which led me into it. After growing up, I got my own and wanted to run the best program I could. I will never claim to be done because there is always room for growth, but we do strive for nothing but happy customers.What makes your program special?
We constantly strive to better our program. Our pets are also health tested to prevent passing on any genetic issues.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

I’m very happy with my fur baby from Adam & Valerie. They met us outside of Jacksonville which reduced an hour to my driving time. Puppy was delivered with foods, toys, blanket, vaccines and vet’s check records, clean & nails trimmed. You can tell they took care of the puppies. I would recommend adopting your fur baby with them.

We're very satisfied with our new family member right from Newbern's Nuggets. I just surprised my wife with a female chocolate doxie for (late) Valentine's day, and she is happier than ever! Adam and Valerie were very nice to work with providing all details and information I needed and responding my messages very fast. I choose to pick up and they met me at the specified point right on time. Legit business and great breeders. They also provide a bag with vaccination history, toys and goods. Everything was perfect!
