I'm Sara G., the breeder behind Nicara kennel located in Wisconsin Dells, WI. We strive to better the breed and put the best dogs into the world we can. We do not under any circumstances place puppies on color or blue eyes. We match our puppies with the best owners for them to excel in life.

Why did you start breeding?
I started in dogs when I was 12. I always knew I wanted a dog I produced, one that was truly all mine, that I brought into the world. Once I bought my home I decided it was time.What makes your program special?
I put my heart and soul into my puppies. I pick the best males for my girls and give them first-class care. All puppies are raised in my home with puppy culture and are exposed to my everyday life. I have also completed Good Dogs socialization program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Profile, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
