Meet the breeder

I'm Fariba E., the breeder behind Nina located in Marysville, WA. My dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. I am decided to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

Q. & A. with Fariba

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got interested in breeding after growing up with dogs and seeing how much they enrich our lives. I started by volunteering with a local kennel and now I'm eager to responsibly raise my own litter someday.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program focuses on health, temperament, and matching puppies with the right homes. I emphasize early socialization, genetic testing, and ongoing support for new owners.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Great level

Nina reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Yorkshire Terriers.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
