I'm Dominique V., the breeder behind Nique's Shih Tzus located in Forney, TX. I’ve always believed that the smallest companions can bring the most happiness, and that led me to my love for breeding Shih Tzus. My journey started with just one and quickly grew. My home is filled and I realized I didn’t just love having a dog—I loved nurturing them snd caring for them.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    At Nique’s Shih Tzus, my journey into breeding started with a genuine love for the Shih Tzu breed and a desire to raise happy, healthy companions in a family-centered environment. What began as a passion quickly grew into a purpose—providing families with well-socialized, quality puppies raised with care from day one.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are raised in the comfort of my home, not in kennels, and are surrounded by everyday family life to ensure they are social, confident, and well-adjusted. IlMothers remain with their puppies until they naturally begin the weaning process. Each puppy receives early socialization, is vet-checked, dewormed, and microchipped before going to their new home.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tricolor, chocolate, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dominique

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dominique partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    We were so happy to have found Good Dog and Breeder Dominique from Niques's Shih Tzus. Our family recently lost our 14 yr old Shih Tzu and were looking for a new puppy to bring the love and joy of a new buddy back into our home. The Vet recommended Good Dog when we were ready and thank goodness, we found Dominique and our beautiful Poppi. Poppi is the sweet little girl very much a people dog and settling right into our family. Working with Dominique was very easy and we could tell from our first contact that Dominique was a loving puppy mom, she was very responsive and helpful through the process.
