I'm Eric and June P., the breeder behind NorCal Terrier Kennel located in Hayward, CA. We are breeding our dogs primarily as family pets, not for show. We are looking for strength and soundly built little dogs more akin to their original breed. Our Terriers were raised from puppies and we have their pedigree. Some are AKC registered others could be CKC registered. Our dogs are family members first and foremost. We're passionate, responsible breeders who truly love our dogs.

Yorkshire Terrier
About Gadget
Gadget an active little spark plug. She is very expressive and likes to ask for treats. At times she talks to you is different tones. She likes to jump up on me and place her feet on my shoulder and then tap my cheek with her paw to get my attention. She is a little more than 6 lbs when nursing the puppies, but is normally 6 lbs. She is AKC registered Yorkie. Her mother and father were the same size and weight, 6 lbs. She cuddles up at night and during the day at times, but her standard is in her little bed at night and on the back of the sofa during the day. She plays with the other dogs but is not one for retrieving anything. She tends to dog pile on the dogs while they are tugging on the toy. She is a good mother and tends to her puppies well.

Yorkshire Terrier
About Bogie
Bogies father was about 6 lbs and his mother was 7-8 lbs. He was the largest of his litter and is large for a registered Yorkie. He is 11 inches tall and has a medium length coat. In some ways he looks like a Silky even though he is AKC registered Yorkshire terrier. He is faithful following my every move. He is never further than a few feet away during the day. Despite this he is independent and is not normally a "lap" dog. He tends to sit on my lap, not lay on my lap. He will fall asleep with his head on my chest, sitting on my lap. He tucks himself in every night with his head near mine, laying against my side or back. He is playful and plays with the other male. He chases the toys and retrieves it. He initiates play at times but often it is Radon that starts the chase. His is friendly with people and likes little kids. Funny enough he avoids his puppies. He is not aggressive with other unknown dogs but is a little apprehensive with big dogs. He is trained to sit, stay and shake a paw. The simple standard things. He catches treats extremely well and picking them out of the air at great distances. He must have good depth of perception, better than most Yorkie.

About Brain
Brain mother was Gadget and father was Radon. Radon is a Biewer Terrier. She is 1/2 Biewer. She is non standard colors. She is a very light tan, nearly white and light silver on the back. If we don't trim her, her hair is on the floor. Brain is a terrific mother. She is very attentive to her puppies and feeds them well. With us she is never protective of the puppies but will watch intently anyone new. She is very playful. She will find her favorite toy and drop it at you feed for a play. Like most terriers she will demand that you play, giving a ruff or two if you do not immediately respond. She will cuddle with you when the weather is cold, but is a bit of a dirt dog too. She tends to sleep under the couch or the recliner. She is affectionate and will jump up on you lap out of the blue to give you a kiss and get her back rubbed.

Eric and June were wonderful to work with in purchasing my new puppy. The communication was amazing and they were always available with any questions or concerns before and after the puppy purchase. I could also tell that they cared very much for their dog family! An all around great experience :)

Eric and June were wonderful in working with my schedule to ensure that I was able to get my puppy. It's obvious that she was well cared for and loved! She has adapted well and is already my best little pal. She is loved and adored by me and my friends and family. She is still getting used to children and strangers. I am currently working on potty training, and she is responding better than expected. She is a typical "take charge" little terrier with a BIG personality! I'm so pleased with my decision to get a new puppy!
