Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda P., the breeder behind North Star Pembroke Welsh Corgi's located in Fortine, MT. Our mission is to ethically and lovingly breed exceptional Corgis that embody the true spirit of the breed. We just love our dogs! Our dogs are family-raised, ensuring they receive abundant care, socialization, and affection from day one. We are committed to promoting the health, temperament, and well-being of each puppy, striving to match them with homes where they will be cherished as lifelong companions.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our breeding journey began with a deep passion for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s exceptional yet spirited personality. After our first corgi was diagnosed with Addison's disease, a rare condition in the breed. We became dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is to preserve the breed's heritage while prioritizing health, temperament, and quality with every carefully planned litter.
  • What makes your program special?

Our desire resonates deeply with a commitment to preserving the health, integrity, and responsible breeding practices often absent in mainstream backyard breeders.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
